Red sparkle finish 1984 - 1962 RI - Made In Japan Fender Telecaster.
That means it was made in 1984 and is a reissue of a 1962 Telecaster Custom.
Super nice double bound body...
Ding on the back and a small one on the front (not put there by me).
This Tele has a Banjo Tuner on the low E string (professionally installed) with 'stops' meaning you can drop tune the E to D without worring if it's in tune.
Also has the compsenated 3 Brass Barrels (Saddles) as an upgrade.
Also has Kinman Pickups in the bridge and neck positions as an upgrade. Please check out (google search) Kinman website
Professional setup and plays like butter. Strung with GHS .009's Boomers.
Comes with a Gig Bag.
Professional playing Tele ready to gig. If you do some research and you'll find these early MIJ's are the real deal.
Would rather trade trade for clean Tube Marshall half stack, Mesa Boogie Combo, Revera amp, Fender Twin, etc...
This is not a 'must sell' issue. However I'm open to options and easy to work with. Thanks for your consideration.
My pix are to large to upload - please email for photos. The photo I've included does this guitar no justice. Please email for the good pixs. Thanks again.

These are some of the best-sounding Teles ever made! I have two. I also play them through a Maz Jr. There's just something about the body wood in these MIJs. They give the guitars so much zing. You can tell they're great even without plugging them in. |

John,
Thanks for the plug on the Tele. I recently purchased a Fender Tele 52 RI that I really love, so this one is not getting used. The Kinman pickups on this Red tele thru the Dr. Z is heavenly tone.
If anyone would like to make an offer, I'm open to suggestions but I'd really rather trade for an amp as mentioned in original post. Please email for really nice pictures of the Red Tele.
Thanks a bunch! |

I just sent a link to a buddy, who just yesterday, was lamenting the fact that he didn't buy the one I offered him. He might be up for it with some interesting trade goods.
