Just to let everyone know the (OK) OSGA is alive and well. This past Sunday was our July meeting in Owasso OK. We set a new record for the club with 16 steel guitars and over 70 in attendance. Our backup band was made up of 3 guitarist, bass and drums. We had our yearly election of officers at this meeting and the results were: Board members John Buffington (pres) and Marty Neer both resigned due to other priorities. Bob DuVall, Ed Doty and Gary Strode were re-elected to the board. Allen Cain and Richard MacDonald were elected as new board members. The club will be in good hands with these men looking after it. They will soon have a meeting and elect the Chairman of the board. Both John and Marty will remain active members of the club and will be continuing to help grow the club.
Thanks for looking. Clovis Richards

Looks like the club is in good hands. It's been my pleasure to do the piano work for the club for many, many years at the Memorial Day yearly show and hopefully to continue to do so working with the new board. We'll miss John and Marty, two very hard working gentlemen and dear friends of mine, but very glad to hear they will stay active in the club.
Best wishes to re-elected board members Bob Duvall, Ed Doty and Gary Strode. Best wishes and "welcome aboard" to new board members Allen Cain and Richard MacDonald.
Looking forward to working with all of you at the Memorial Day show May 2010.
Yes, the club in alive and well and in good hands.
Best wihes to all,
....Roy Rosetta

Greatings to all of you from all of us at the Oklahoma City area JAM session.
I think that I can speak for all of us in saying that we have in the past, and continue in the future to support and admire the Tulsa club. We look to you as our role model. So, keep up the good work.
