Chris Fouke Baritone 27.5" scale length.
1 7/8" deep, Grover 102c tuners, baritone string set 18-68
Custom Order as I wanted a long scale length for a solo piece I was doing for a soundtrack.
Custom double center soundhole design decided by my wife. She has a good eye for design and it helps to include her when you have guitar acquisition syndrome(GAS).
Kent Armstrong open coil M213K PAF style,Ceramic 7.8Kohm model pickpup with coil tap switch installed.
So you get both Humbucker and Single coil.
Measurement between 2 outside strings on center 1 7/8"
Bridge string spacing aprox 2.1" string height above fret board 5/8"
Real nice feel for string spacing.
Of course his famous brushed aluminum finish. It is a real art piece. I'm only selling due to the purchase of another instrument and must thin the herd.
Included is a a really nice padded gig bag.
$460 including shipping within the 48 states

|
|
I just saw these guitars online and was intrigued. How do they sound and how do they sound compared to a wood guitar? I like their look. I might imagine they would sound kind of cold, but what do I know? I was thinking of buying one myself.
You apparently were ready to sell it after the specific project so maybe you didn't like it that much?
Thanks

Hi Jim
The guitars actually sound great. Not cold at all. It is not the unique sound of a bakelite Ric but very nice indeed. Reminds me more of my Oahu Diana. And with the coil split switch alot of tone variety.
I am only selling due to the economy and having to downsize myself. If only money grew on trees and guitars grew beside those trees..... I would have one of everything! :>}
Anyway, awesome guitars as others will tell you. And you can remove that picture on the wall and hang it in its place as they are works of art and design.
Hope that helps. |
