This is an older Peavey VT Artist amp. It has a 100 watt tube (4 6L6's) power amp, and a solid state pre amp. 15" Black Widow speaker< spring reverb and master volume. It has two channels, but shares common tone controls, and I need an amp that has seperate controls for each channel. This is a great sounding amp with a ton of clean headroom. It has recently been gone over by my amp tech and is in good working order. I'd like to get $250 for it, plus shipping (It's heavy, of course), or I would trade for A 4 ohm 12" or 15" speaker in a cabinet.

I thought I was familiar with most Peavey amps old & new, this sure is a new one on me. Looks like an interesting combo. TTT For you! _________________ Benjamin Turner |

I've had quite a few trade inquiries on this, but I've just found something that I want to buy, so I'm looking for cash. Thanks! |

John, I have one of these amps and the one's with the 15" black widow are pretty rare. you are right plenty of clean power and good break-up dirty when the channels are combined. Peavey makes great equipment...but I have often wondered why some of the great amps they made where only around for a short time mace, artist, and triumph and of course nash-400come to mind....any way that is another topic....to the top for a great deal. by the way although this amp is heavy it is the same cabinet size as a nash-400 |
