Resophonic player Troy Brenningmeyer has a number of nicely done free video lessons in G and D tunings. Check 'em out.

These are great and free to boot. I've been watching them for a few weeks now. Lots of info. You can learn a complete tune or some hot licks. Hat off to Troy for his generosity! |

He does have some free ones out there, but most of what I have seen is just "teasers" for what you can buy. He is a good teacher. He breaks things down so it is understandable. I could learn alot. I just am annoyed at the concept. He's a business man trying to sell a product. He doesn't send CD, it's a download. IF you want a CD, you have to burn one. The tab pages are a PDF. also a download. He doesn't print or send paper. It's on the buyer to make up their mind if they want to print it or view it on the computer. Keeps his cost down. Good business move. Still, it's not free.
Samples are free. Most, not all, have paypal directions at the end of the vid, not free. |
