Southern Wisconsin Steel Guitar Club Jam Cancelled

The jam on the 22nd of July is cancelled. BMI contacted the club owner and knows about our once a month jam and will be billing him. We are the only live music at Saxe's so he isn't going to pay the $800 they will likely bill him.

Too bad since we are just trying to promote steel guitar and have some fun. I sure hope nobody on the SGF told BMI about this because it just killed our jam for now. I am not accusing because I realize non Forum members can look at this site....but I am obviously really upset right now.

If anybody has any thoughts on this please contact me. Private email would be best for obvious reasons.

Maybe you could move the jam to a private venue. Does someone have a shop or a good sized garage?
