Hi, I was wondering how to hook up the Nashville 400 direct to the PA. Also I was wondering if it is better to have the post gain knob turned all the way up or have it half way and turn the pre gain knob up.

Thanks, David

I run mine on occasion into the PA. I found using a direct box coming out of the Pre-amp out on the back and running a mic cord to the PA to be the best. When I would just go straight from the Pre-amp out via guitar cord to the PA, it was noisier. The soundman would have to turn my slider on the PA off in between songs. The DI box changed that.

Oh, and to answer your gain question, I have my post gain all the way up and use my pregain halfway. Most of the places I play are about the same size, so this volume setting works well for me. If you start having buzz problems, you can bring the post gain down a bit, but be careful not to bring it too far down in relation to the pre-gain.
