Just got my Simmons steel in today. It exceeded my expectations. What a fantastic instrument, and Bob is a great guy as well. Ringing endorsement. Craig.

It is a SD-10. 3P/3K. I am impressed more with every day that passes by this guitar. And, no Chuck, nothing is as pretty as yours, but it runs a close second.

How many SGF members own a Simmons? If this Steel is as good as a couple of members say it is..it is a real break-through pricewise.

I was just joking Craig. I know yours is just as beautiful as mine. All Bob's creations are equally as beautiful as he is.

When I went to pick mine up, I carried my MCI with me and Bob fixed it for me. Couldn't ask for better treatment. I carried my grandson and Bob took the time to show him his miniature train set up. It was a great day for all. Even momma enjoyed the visit with Bob's wife.

I went a little beyond the norm with mine it is set up just like my MCI with 3/4 with a half stop on the 2d string D# lower, these are the same pulls as on my MCI and I got adjustable legs on both back legs. I keep it mostly at home to practice on as my MCI stays at the club I work at. I do take it out every once in a while and play it on close gigs.
