Chris I played through a Nashville 400 for years but I prefer the NV1000, I drive mine from a Revelation Pre into the power amp in but it sounds fantastic and has plenty of grunt (300 watts)
With a Neo magnet it is a very manageable weight as well. _________________ 14'Zumsteel Hybrid D10 9+9

The knobs are just like a NV112, but the 15" and the high wattage makes it far better sound-wise in my book. The tone is similar to the NV400, at least it was to me when I used one. Of course, the Session 400 and LTD version were the odd amps out with the circuitry. They are different than all the NV's, and a little warmer to my ear. But the NV1000 was favourable to me when I used one a few times with backline. No complaints. I could certainly dial it in more easily than a NV112, which honked all over the parametric. _________________ Jackson Steel Guitars
