1970 Emmons Original, totally refinished and rebuilt by Albert Johnson and Dana Flood in 2005. This guitar is in showroom condition. Beautiful blonde birdseye finish. Standard Emmons setup,(8 & 4).
Notice that it has the wide pedal spacing.
This is not only a rare guitar that has a magnificent appearance, but it has "that" tone! This guitar had been played very little before I got it, and has been a stay at home guitar and not gigged. It plays and sounds like a dream. Gold lined Thomas case.
I am only offering this guitar for sale with great trepidation, that is: I hate to part with it and I dread shipping such a collectible instrument. A somewhat local sale would be preferred, so I might be able to meet the buyer part way, and to allow inspection.
$4,150.00, buyer pays shipping and insurance.(PayPal, add fee) I will respond to inquiries in the order that I receive them.
Ron

Now this is what I call a Steal-Deal.This is by far one of the most beautiful Emmons guitars I have seen in years.Wood necks and a Bolt-on as well. What can a player wish for next.
Someone is going to get a great guitar.

ATTENTION:::::
I have played this beautiful Emmons in Ron's studio...It is everything he says it is plus a little more..I milked more Emmons Tone out of this horn than you can ever believe..As far as the appearance is concerned, it ought to be in a museum.
If I didn't have eight pedals steels I would be all over this one...You can not go wrong..Albert And Dana do work that is beyond comprehension..

I wanted to thank everyone that has responded to my post, whether positive or not..
I want to respond to the only question that has been raised as to the instrument so far. This is a player guitar that just happens to be very attractive in appearance also. This guitar embodies the vintage Emmons tone as well as any that I have ever heard. I pondered what price to assign to it, and decided that after seeing what comparable instruments were valued at, and in light of the comments here the last couple of days, I have been convinced that I am asking a fair price for what I am offering. I had a jam with a couple of folks at my house last night, and set it up and played it. I wanted to be sure that everything was just right with it. It is..
Here are the facts:
The guitar is what it is.
The C6 neck has a 18.4 TrueTone since the original Emmons single coil died. (again, this is a playing guitar, not a display piece)
Again, thanks for the responses, and if anyone finds another lacquer Push Pull in this condition that has a comparable tone and playability, buy it..
Some of the respondents here have done business with me before. I think that Mr. Diehl can attest that my policy is: ANYTHING is negotiable.
If I have offended anyone with my pricing, I truly apologise.
If anyone has further questions concerning the guitar, or would like additional photos, please let me know.
Again, Thanks,
Ron

Ron is right. I bought a guitar from him before and he is very fair in his prices and true to his word. I have a bolt on, lacquer top with wood neck Emmons like this one and I would not take any less than Ron is asking for his for mine.

This is a beautiful guitar, re-built by the best mechanics out there. There is something really outstanding about the sound of wood neck push pulls, either cut-tails or bolt ons. I have one of each and there're both exceptional. You won't find a better sounding guitar than this one.
