Bill, I have used Propiks for quite a while now; using the ones that have the angled tip, and the band that is not split. With those small holes in the band, they really stick to your fingers good. _________________ Mullen Lacquer SD 10, 3 & 5; Mullen Mica S 10 1/2 pad, 3 & 5; BJS Bars; LTD400, Nashville 112, DD-3, RV-3, Hilton VP . -- Gold Tone PBS sq neck; Wechter Scheerhorn sq neck. -- "Experience is the thing you have left when everything else is gone." -anon.- |

I use the same ones Stan mentioned. I've been using them for quite a few years now. They're the only picks I've found that I like as much as my old Nationals. |

I use the ones pictured, but coated by A.H. Hinton. The best, most comfortable that I've ever used.

Jimmy, I don't know where to get the one's like these. I have seen some simular to these at steel shows. They were a little to expensive for me. As I said this pair were givin to me.
Jimmie, If you have a machine shop near you they can shorten your legs and rods. _________________ Custom Rittenberry SD10

I just started using the split propiks about a month ago. I tried the single band, but couldn't keep them on my fingers, these doubble band stay on good. Mine has the #2 on them, not sure if that refers to the angle or the size.
Jimmy I just bought another pair at Elderly.com
they were $2.50 or $2 something. You can get the bronze or nickel coated.
