I caught Lefty Schrage on Midwest Country last night. Was that the Zum or the Willy you were playing my friend? Either way it sounded great.

Was that Lefty? I didn't recognize him, he did sound good though. Mr Sweeney I never thought you be a Hank kind of a player, but you made Mr Church sound good.

Delvin,

Thanks for kind words. It's fun going back in time once in a while. I'm like a lot of guys on here, I cut my teeth on Hank Williams music.

Very Happy Rolling Eyes Laughing Whoa!

Mike : I thoroughly enjoyed watching Mid west Jamboree this past Sat. Eve. Especially the David church Portion of the program, featuring such a fine steel guitar Player backing him.. I thought it was the best show of David's I have heard in a long while. Some mighty fine picking on your Zum steel..Bernie Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!

I hate this thread got hijacked on my account. This was started about Lefty and rightfully so, He's a GREAT player and human being. I'm proud to call him a friend of mine. I just happened to be on that episode by chance. I thank you guys for the kind words but Craig started this about Lefty so I think it should stay about Lefty. Very Happy

Thank-you Mike for saving the thread. Folks I will be the first to admit that Mike is one fine player. He has been to our show twice. But yes the thread is about the guy that inspired me to learn how to play this darn machine. I was excited to see him on the show and his playing was great. So that's why I posted.
