I downloaded a more recent version of the Safari Browser (3.1.2) but am now having trouble accessing secured sites (anything prefixed with "https"). Has anyone had the same problem and if so, how did you resolve it? Thanks, steve t |

Steve;
Check your firewall log to see if it is blocking the https protocol in the browser. Check your security programs also. Sometimes a changed program is temporarily or partially blocked by security apps, or Windows Vista/Windows7 itself, until it can be manually approved.
If neither of the above applies, try uninstalling rebooting and reinstalling Safari. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum

Wiz & John, Thanks for taking the time to suggest the solutions. I decided to go with Firefox and have not had any problems since. Will upgrade to Safari 4 also. steve t |
