Wow that's sad.
I took my first steel lesson from Howard when he a Steve opened Steel City Music.
Howard would come sit in with me when I had my band.
Man he was fast!
Last time I saw him gig was many years ago at Nine Acres Club.

I met howard in 1957 in Texas city helped him put a pedal on a double neck fender he and I played in a band with Adrian Rowland he was only about 14 but he was a fast learner he will be missed
