My fav. Steeler - Barry Sless

Not well known but a musician to dazzle the senses.
Barry Sless is an incredible guitar and pedal steel player who played in Cowboy Jazz, Phil Lesh & Friends, Dave Nelson Band. He's got this great band now with Lorin Rowan called Rattlebox. Its a trio of guitar, steel and cello! Which is funny cause I'm in a band with the same instrumentation.

Anyway I just wanted to give a shout out to one of my heros, a great improviser, and soulful dreamer.

You can check out a big of his stuff. Simple tunes but pulled off beautifully.
