Jagwire Strings is proud to welcome Weldon Myrick, to our ever growing list of Artist/Endorsers.

A little history about Weldon:

Weldon Myrick, an Internationally known musician, became a member of the Grand Ole Opry staff band in 1966. In the following decades, he performed and recorded with hundreds of major artists. Weldon's playing excellence contributed to over two dozen golden records and albums that sold in the millions. This pioneer advanced the steel guitar by the skill and sensitivity of his artful delivery.

WELCOME WELDON!!!!! Only the best use the best!!! I am happy that you choose Jagwires and even more pleased that you have chosen to endorse them. And by doing so, you have teamed up with one of the most hard working group of individuals there is in the steel guitar world. Danny has steadfastly devoted himself to offering a superior product in Jadwire Strings as he has anything he represents. Each time I see a new endorser with the qualifications and history such as Weldon Myrick, I know that Jagwire is being justly represented to all. Again... WELCOME...WELDOM MYRICK!!!

Bobby. On the E-9th Weldon uses the following:

.012 .015 .011 .014 .018 .022 .026W .030 .034
.038 Stainless Steel

I'm answering this from home right now, and I don't remember the C-6th gauges right now from memory, but I will post that here tomorrow for you.

Weldon-Glad to see you on board. Another great endorsement for Danny.

It was my pleasure meeting and talking with you 2 years ago at LT.Zinn's Michigan HOF show.

I was lucky to meet you and John Hughey there both at the same time.
I remember we mentioned my good friend Jimmy Yates, who lives in Hendersonville,TN.....al

Welcome aboard Weldon! I've idolized your playing for years! Since switching to Jagwire strings, I've noticed a huge difference & just a few days ago in the studio cutting a single with the Canadian Idol winner, Ryan Malcolm, got a great complement on the sound of the guitar from the producer. Danny & Regina are great people, offering the ultimate in service and quality product! All the best Weldon!!
