I sent Randy ( Beavers) some money on Friday or so and he sent me his new CD and it arrived today, just in time for my backyard sit with a cold beer .(Lite of course)

First off let me just say I have seen Randy play a handful of times and spoke with him briefly a few times. I gotta say he's pretty casual !

A Few of My Favorite Things..great title..

Randy's new CD is in my little humble NC opinion one of the finest I have spun in recent memory. You won't hear any stock reminiscent licks or phrases here..Randy's approach is what I would say very creative..different..if you are looking for an influence to stretch out of common ground..look Randy's way.

The cover is classic..you need to see what he is holding in his hand..what a hoot..

Also..Randy ole' pal..I think the chip shot on the back cover may be illegal..this from an expert at left to right Golf of course..

Thanks for a great CD and a great afternoon break listening to it..

Thanks guys!

Actually Ricky if I could putt I'd be a mid 70's player. But that part of the game gives me fits. Normally I'm in the low to mid 80's. I haven't been able to play much for the last year and a half because of the shoulder. But I'm on the mend now and maybe the doctor will let me go to the practice putting green after tomorrows visit.

I can't imagine Bruce Zumsteg's response if he has to fix a divot in the neck!

Tony,
Thanks for opening this thread!..Randy..I hope that you are healing good.I had the "Left" done last year and need to have the right 'cause it ouches' I hope to see you in Chattanooga.
Tony...I spent some late late night time with Randy and Boo Miller while at the last Mnt City Jame. Randy has some "Tall Storie: and IS a conisuir of Fine Cigars" and very much a gentleman..Just a great guy who thinks of others ..before himself...His last Alubum (of which he sent me 2) was nothing but Masterfull. I'll get a copy of his NEW one at Chatanooga. And Tony...You were great at Kanapolis!!

The Doc said I could go to the putting green!

I thought I'd post my home page so everyone can check out the CD cover and details.

Thanks,
Randy
