Thank you my friend for including me with those great steel guitar players. My credits are few, and my debits are many, so I am happy for any recognition!

From one of the "lost" steel-players who were not accepted as one of the annointed, or in any of the awards, I accet your indorsement as one of the most important of my career.

Luv ya my friend.....

Gene

Gene,

Thanks ever so much for the bump. It is so good to hear from you. You are so right! You are not "lost" on "Swingin' West" where you are still played. You are also not "lost" in the Western Swing world where I am proud to be your brother in the Western Swing Hall of Fame- Southwest. There are also many others who still relish your wonderful licks with the steel guitar in the Western Swing world of Merl Lindsey and the Oklahoma Nite Riders, the country world of Conway Twitty and of course those precious Steel Guitar CDs that you released.
