Sale fell through because I found out there are some unoriginal parts and notified the buyer who didn't want it. Flange, hoop, tailpiece and armrest replaced due to finish corrosion problems. Replacements are from Janet Davis Music and appear to be of Gibson quality. Not a collector but a good player.
Just picked up a 1988 Gibson RB3 5 string banjo on trade and need to move it. Nice shape with one small ding on edge of resonator, a little light rash on the back, and black mark on peghead where someone left a capo clamped. Also, there's small holes on the side of the neck where a 5th string capo was removed - other than that it's real clean and loud and heavy. Oh, and it comes with Keith tuners on the 'B' & 'G' strings. Comes with non original hard case. Asking $1900.00 + shipping + PayPal fees.
