I've got the now-discontinued Maxon AD-900. It's quite remarkable. 600 ms of fat, rich goodness.

I use a very cheap Ibanez soundtank delay. I use it because it is buffered(most are), it does its delay thing very well, although I use it primarily for one long delay, and it was very cheap. I actually bought it for my son for I think 25 bucks, but he never liked it. JP

I have the old two rack space Ibanez unit which had chorus, flange, tremolo, etc. on it as well but I just use the delay. It's in a rack box coupled with a BBE Sonic Maximizer.......JH in Va.

Mainly a SIB Mr. Echo, as it takes up less pedalboard real estate than my real favorite; my H&K Replex, a tube-driven Echoplex emulator. I also have a Line 6 DL-4 which does a great job of emulating several analog delays - bucket-brigade chips and several tape-types.

A really good one that is less expensive (and not actually analog - but it has a "crap factor" built in which warms and dirties the signal, making it sound like a typical analog delay) is the Ibanez sound-Tank EM5 Echomachine. Prices have jumped a ton in the last few years, but they are still cheaper than most analogs.

My last is probably my favorite, bu the most touchy and difficult to keep in playig shape - a Maestro Sireko; it's a tape Echoplex without the sound-on-sound feature. Just incredible sound.

Good to hear that there's more Carbon Copy fans. Tried Boss DD7, Space Echo e.t.c. and finally, after comparing 5 different of them at same gig, understood that MXR analog is way to go. I got that old big and green MXR too, but it has kind of rustle when plugged in and I don't know how to fix it.

The best I have ever used is a Ibanez AD 150. Lots of controls and was around 30 years ago. I still have one. Anybody know where I can get it refurbished. Is this even possible?? Don D.
