For me, one of the most iconic steel guitar albums was "Suite Steel." It contained:
* Buddy Emmons: Down On The Corner
* Sneaky Pete: Blackbird
* Rusty Young: Everybody's Talkin'
* Buddy Emmons: Wichita Lineman
* J D Maness: Muddy Mississippi Line
* Red Rhodes: Something
* Sneaky Pete & Rusty Young: Sunshine Of Your Love
* Buddy Emmons & Sneaky Pete: Yesterday
* Buddy Emmons: Turn Any Corner (Suite Steel 1)
* Buddy Emmons:L'Hiver Sur la Plage Suite Steel 2)
* Rusty Young: Prodigal (Suite Steel 3)

I had the vinyl and played it to death as I was learning. Does anyone know where I can find this on CD? I've looked all over.

What an amazing album.

Yeah, Cameron, I was just playing fingerstyle guitar until I picked up a copy of this album around 1976. I got as far as Buddy on Wichita Lineman, went out and bought a ShoBud Maverick, and joined a band. Still one of my favorite albums.

Cameron, best I can tell, it's never been available as a CD, however, with your computer and a turntable, you could do it yourself quite easily these days. Smile
