Found out we made the local papers! Fame can't be far behind, at least that's what they have told me since I was 12.

Galveston is great in the touristy areas. You would have a hard time knowing the impact of Ike. However back off the main drag some areas still are mostly deserted and in bad shape. I do under stand that bringing tourists helps recovery, so come on down!
