Sorry, no tab.
I'm so used to working without tab, that it is the last thing on my mind to tab a song after recording it.

The thought often comes up whether I should do a key-change in a particular song, but if the song is interesting enough I just stick with it.
Do you reckon I should change key more often?

You obviously know when a tune doesn't need tinkering with and another which requires tweaking in order to maintain interest. A key change often relieves one of the sameness or monotony in a tune and is required. A gorgeous tune like "All The Things You Are" will stand gloriously on its' own. Stay the course, my friend, and let your sensibilities dictate what you do.
I've developed somewhat of a bad habit in that I try to use favorite turnarounds such as yours in all that I do. I think I'm tinkering too much.
When do we get another post of your playing? There's at least another dozen Ray Price tunes of the same genre as "Take Me....". Hint. Hint.

John Hughey is, of course, one of my favorite steel players.
I have several versions of that song amongst my collection of steel albums, but John's version came the closest to the way I heard the song in my mind. Especially the first few notes. I took the liberty of playing the song the way I felt it.... Glad you enjoyed it.

As you've said, a good song just needs to be played well.
Working on turnarounds isn't a bad thing at all! Only one, or two will stick in your mind when doing a gig, and those are the ones you will play at that time. The others will surface at another time. So, keep on tinkering!
I do have several Ray Price type solos; they are all on my albums. But, with the help of Tilley, I will continue posting some of them.
