Ihave a 1985 gibson cec nylon chet atkins guitar . the problem is the high e string has very little volume and the b string is very loud . i have tried adjusting each string but it still does'nt make any difference . any advice is appreciated thanks warren

it is possible that you need to have the bottom of the saddle and slot trued. Since the piezo pickup works on pressure the bottom of the saddle and the bottom of the slot both need to be straight and level so that pressure is even under all strings.

I had a similar problem with my Chet SST. I suggest you take the guitar to a skilled luthier to adjust the saddle fit.

Good Morning Warren,

You might try asking my friend Jim DuFresne.
He has owned and played that model since they were introduced back in 82 (I think it was 82)
He is also a fine craftsman who knows the ins and outs of guitars as well as anyone.
