I've had a Boss DD-3 for years. This year I got a DD-2 because of it's reputation for having a better chip/better sound. The DD-3 is a great pedal and will get the job done but the DD-2 is on a whole other level. Look for one on Craigslist or e-bay.

I've got a DD-2 and a DD-3 and never knew there was a difference. Embarassed I dropped the DD-2 at one time and broke a knob off so I bought the DD-3. I’ve since gotten the DD-2 repaired. I'll have to get them out together and compare!
