They are truly fine people. Margie and I met them 25-30 years ago in a Denver dive called Suzi Q's. My brothers, wife and I would set at Dick's feet and listen to his steel while his wife sang. His amp would hit us directly in the face (no wonder I'm nearly deaf Very Happy ).

They are good people.

When I lived in Denver "63-66" I saw Dick playing steel & guitar at a club on So. Broadway, That was almost 50 years ago, Being able to switch from steel to a guitar on your lap always amazed me! au

Yes, Dick and Lois, two very fine people.
A nice well deserved article.
Dick has been helping me keep my pedal steel guitars in good working order since moving to Colorado about 8 months ago.

Dick was the first pedal steel player I experienced in the late 60's when I moved to Denver. When I heard that sound I traded in my dbl neck Fender Stringmaster for a Fender 1000 @ Don Edwards Guitar City. I took lessons from Dick for a few years, and he is probably the person, along with Don Edwards that had the most to do with me playing Steel for a living.
They don't come any better than Dick and Lois, they are more to me than friends, more like family.
CONGRATS, I love you both...cya...Ronnie

Thanks for the post John, looking forward to your visit, and a steak next month.
