The Florida Steel Guitar Club's April 2004 Meeting/Steel Jam will be Wednesday, April 14th, 2004, at 6PM. Location is Catfish Johnny's Restaurant, CR470, Lake Panasoffkee, Fl. (our regular meeting/jam place).
The club is open to all interested Steelers and those interested in Steel Guitar. There are no Club membership fees and no admission fees to the Club Meetings/Jams.
For those that will be traveling to Florida, the FSGC Club holds monthly Meetings/Steel Jams the second Wednesday of each month. Lake Panasoffkee is exit 321 on I75, approximately 60 miles west of Orlando and about the same distance north of Tampa.
Our 2nd Anniversary Show will be on September 18th,2004.
We will be discussing this upcoming event at this April meeting.
We have allowed time for only 10 players and how this will be handled will also be explained.

We're going to have another fine jam this month.
If you are in this area of Florida, please come and bring your guitar and play or just enjoy the music.

I have heard from several of our member pickers and many including myself will be doing a tribute song or two we either learned from Jeff Newman or heard him play.

John Heinrich,
Good to see that you are still around; I haven't heard from you for awhile. You ought to throw that sax, steel, etc. in your car someday and head off down here for one of the jams. I will probably be back from my spring travels and here for the second Wedmesday in July -- how about joining us then?
Jack S., Jack D., Blake, Don, Bud and all the others. Hold the fort down while I'm gone. I'll take the laptop along so I can keep in touch.
