Gene was my first and only "live" steel teacher. He is an awesome picker! He and his wife Gayla have a gospel group. Gene is a member of this forum. If he doesn't contact you, let me know. I can make one phone call to Oklahoma and get his number for you. Larry Jamieson |

Gene is an excellent picker. I have his CD. Great cuts as well. I met him and his wife Gala at the Country Gospel Music Guild that was ran by W.C.Taylor. I was playing for Greg Caracofe & Promise at the time, and we played at the Texas Troubador Theatre next to E.T.Record Shoppe, and again in Memphis Tn.at the church that singer Harvey Perdue pastors. |
