Not wanting to be the first one to own a P/P
I waited for thirty years. Just to make sure all the bugs were out
This is another Albert Johnson creation. Albert is in Tallahassee FLA. A magician and a Master craftsman. This is an 80 8/7. And it's a keeper!!
The second pict is Albert.

Thanks Ron.
No the levers are polished aluminum. One side is rough sanded to give a textured look. One of Alberts
touches.

Congratulations! Looks you got a good'n.
You might have a museum piece there...but I'll look

Jack:
What a great looking p/p. I have a 68 and a 76 D-10 that Albert did and they are gorgeous. You are right about his being a master. He is also one of the nicest, most gentle people I have ever met. I have one more guitar for him to do. It is a D-10 Black Rock Emmons and may be the only one in existance.
Have a good one and say hello to all the Florida Club pickers for me. I miss those days...

I'll jump in a give a kudo to Albert Johnson.. He setup a PP for me this past Feb and it is simply perfect. He's done a couple PPs for some of the Alabama folks and we sure are blessed to have him in our neck of the woods down here..
Here's a picture of mine that Albert setup for me..

Hey Nick, I understand you own two or three of these fine guitars; I have a birthday coming up in January. I'd love to have one of those Emmons placed on my front porch for the occasion.. O.K? Thanks, my friend..Bernie _________________ 2007 Zum S-10; 1967 Sho-Bud [ D-10 ]; 85 S-10 Sierra; 1953 Multi-Kord [ 6 String- 4 pedals ] A Sho-Bro six String Resonator Guitar; Nashville 112 Amp; hilton Vol. Pedal |
