It would really be nice if Billy Phelps could play some steel this time. He usually gets stuck on drums and we don't get to hear this fantastic talent play steel. I'm not demeaning drummers talents; they add alot to a sound, but let someone else do it this time.

I agree, Jim! I was supposed to be featured last month, but could not make it. I'll be happy to let Billy do it this month if he wants to, and I'll play drums. Smile jc

Jody C., No! We all want you as our featured player. You've been a hard guy to book lately with your increased fame. I just want to add Billy to the mix. And, as Jody S. said, we can feature him next month. Nothing would be better than having both of you center stage on steel.

Well, as much as I would like to be there, I will be out of town.
Charlotte and I will be in Fort Worth-Dallas area. This weekend is our 40th Anniversary, so we will be gone until Monday.
Hate to miss the show, but love is in bloom for the weekend; see you next month

Ok, I haven't been ignoring you guys but seems of late that I have been having heart problems again. I am due for my second by-pass surgery (my first being in 1995) Monday, so Sunday is out for me. Wishing you all the very best with the meeting. Just wish I was there to hear Jody Cameron play. Hope you have a great show!!

Doug
