I guess this is an event,,,,,Gang, I'm on the west side of Houston, about 30 miles from downtown.
My subdivision has raised and slowpped lots, usually from two to three feet above the streets. I'm at the end of a culdisac eye and we're almost four feet above the pavement. If the water rises about 3 or 4 more inches it'll be in our house. This subdivision of about a thousand homes is litterally a lake at 6:30 Tuesday morning. Many of the houses have a foot or more of water in them. It's been estimated that we are getting 4 to 8 inches of rain per hour.
Oh well, think I'll go back to bed,,,,with my water wings on. haha!

Hang in there Dr. Bowman. With your rotund figure, you will probably float. We had 6" rain last night. Nice that we live on a hill. Thank the LORD, we have no water damage here at home or Georgia's shop. Stay dry Dr. and and Toni. Hope to see ya'll Sunday at the meeting. Jody. |

Bro. Bowman, just don't let your shop float off. Send some of that rain up here to Amarillo. Even after a big rain the humidity is only about 10%. Good luck. _________________ Keep pickin', Larry |

Mr. B, we are trying to help you up here in Oregon, we had thunderstorms and lots of rain today so we are soaking up as much as we can to give you guys a break. I was just on the weather radar site and it looks like the main force of the system is moving off to the northeast of you. Take care and keep your high top boots handy for a little while longer.

And they all laughed when I built my Nerf Steel.
Ha! At least it floats.
Good luck with the water goin' down.
By the way, Bobby, if you haven't recently, check your website hosting. I tried to go to your website domain hosting, and got a message saying it was expired, pending re-upment. Bet they've been sending notices to an old email address. Happened to me.
Is there good fishing near your house? |

My outdoor gig today, a house party out near the Pacific coast*, was canceled because of rain. Weather moves from west to east, so all yunz in flyover country can expect more.
Just kidding. I don't mean to make light of what may become a tragic situation. Stay safe and dry, Bobby.
*Or maybe it was near the Atlantic coast, if you believe CBS. _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |
