Bill you can hook em up seperate with a stereo volume pedal and control them seperately for sound.
You can also plug into one amp and use a cord from the preamp out in the rear of the amp to the power amp in on the other. The preamp on the first amp will then be fed into the other. You can then control both amps from the first one.
There are other ways if you are using effects units etc. but this would be the primary ways to run them. |

At the present time I'm splitting the signal from my guitar and feeding it into a Franklin Stereo Pedal with 2-pots. This way, when you use a BOSS~TONE unit in just one amp., you can play more than just one single note and the other dry-signal will keep the sound from becoming all jumbled up! _________________ <marquee> Go~Daddy~Go, (No), Go, It's your Break Time</marquee> L8R, jb

Gary; The answer to your question is ‘NO’! Each Power~Amp. simply amplifies the signal from the 1-Pre~Amp.! Set both Master~Vol's. to the same setting. The Master~Vol. is the only Knob used on the second Amp. _________________ <marquee> Go~Daddy~Go, (No), Go, It's your Break Time</marquee> L8R, jb

The signal from the instrument only travels in one direction. Even if you split the signal at your volume-pedal Outputs, from there it only goes to one amp. It doesn't turn around and travel back through the cord and to the other amp. (Just like a water-hose, current only travels in one diirection.) _________________ <marquee> Go~Daddy~Go, (No), Go, It's your Break Time</marquee> L8R, jb

Are the Goodrich/Hilton Pedals stereo pedals/ They have 2 amp outs and 1 guitar out.
Could you run from both outs on the pedal to 2 amps and if so will it work like that?
My other question is does it benefit us to use 2 NV 112's or is it just something people do?
I heard the only true stereo is with a stereo guitar like the Franklin's were.
Please advise it sounds interesting. |

It's not true Stereo with 1-In & 2-Out. In fact, not even with 2-In & 2-Out! It's called ‘Compatable~Stereo’. It's about as close as you can get, w/o being true stereo! True~Stereo requires 2-Seperate Sound–Sources. (2-P/U's) The “Stereo~Franklin” guitar did split the signal from 1-P/U into (2) seperate volume-pots in a volume-pedal and Out from each pot to (2) seperate amplifiers. It's the Stereo~Pedal that is the necessary component in this senerio. I use a Franklin Stereo Volume-Pedal, but; instead of my guitar having (2) [split-signal] outputs, I've split my signal in a box that I clip onto the leg of my guitar and the (2)-Outputs from there feed my Stereo-Pedal and on to my 2-Amps. This process can be used with any brand of guitar! Paul stopped installing (2)-Outputs on Franklin Guitars years ago, so; you have to build an external-box! It's still “Compatable~Stereo”! _________________ <marquee> Go~Daddy~Go, (No), Go, It's your Break Time</marquee> L8R, jb

Please advise.
Thanks |

Yes, that's what the volume-pedals are designed to do nowadays! (Feed 2-Amps.) You can run directly to Amp. #1 and, if you choose to; you can go through an External~Effects Unit from the second output jack, such as a Delay and/or Chorus Stomp-Box and into the 2nd. Amp.. _________________ <marquee> Go~Daddy~Go, (No), Go, It's your Break Time</marquee> L8R, jb
