I think I'm going to sell this guitar. Reluctantly. It's been great for me, but I believe I have found one that wants me more.
I bought it new in January of 2007, so it's a little over two years old. It's a 600 Series guitar (really easy to change strings on). Emmons setup, 3x5. It has a True-tone pickup that's tapped, so you can switch it to 17.5 or 21 ohms. It has a lacquer finish with a mild amber tint to it.
It's in very good shape, I would say. There are two or three small bar dings on the top (all from letting civilians try my guitar after shows). The endplates and changer are not as shiny as new. Other than that I haven't managed to do it any harm.
It stays in tune great. Really great. As many say about their Williams guitars, I have never broken a string. I have played this guitar all over the Northwest, Northeast, the UK, France, Germany and Switzerland and it has never once let me down at all. Lightweight, attractive, plays and sounds excellent.
If you'd like to hear it, here is a link to a video from last fall (disclaimer:I had a the flu..). This is going through a Roland Micro-cube straight into a PA via the headphone output. I think the tone is pretty good!

I have a photo on my computer that I can email. I'm not at home right now, but I should be able to post some pictures on Monday evening.
I'd like to get $2200 for it. It comes with the original case which is still doing quite well, except the rubber is coming off the handle. I have an extra Fender amp handle around. If it fits, I'll replace it. I also have a wheeled flight case (for the body only) that I'll sell for $125.
You can send me an email at hanknagle@sbcglobal.net
Thank you!
Henry
So, I added some pictures. Actual guitar is not blurry!

Henry, I was just taking a look and listen to the guitar you have there and quite a coincidence, I've played about twenty or so shows with Corinne when she was up this way and once down in Red Bluff, CA for a Dwight Yoakum show. If you see her say hello for me.
And I agree with the previous posts here, that's nice playing and good sound.

Thanks a lot for the nice words!
I have a tentative deal pending right now. I'll update this as soon as it goes through or not. |

Congratulations Henry. Really great playing too. I mean it, you are much too hard on yourself.

Thanks Larry... I should add, I suppose, that the original deal has fallen through. I'm waiting to hear back from the second person who wanted it, but it's possible that the guitar is still available.
I'll know soon. |
