Anyone have a reverb tank replacement number for an Evans FET 500LV? Is it 8EB2C1B? It's the short 3 spring model I think I'm looking for.
Thanks,
Dave

David,

8EB2C1B

Here's an Accutronics chart for deciphering the tank's model numbers.

Can't help you with identifying the specific Evans tank application.

That 2 explains why they suck. Love the tone of my Evans, but the 'verb is just too short-lived

I have a NOS one, still in the box with receipt from Accutronics. Sent a PM on it.

According to my records that is the wrong tank for an Evans. Should be 8FB2B1B (if mounted horzontal on the amps bottom)

This has been discussed before:

Guys, thanks. The post was from 3 years ago when I was building a cabinet for an Evans chassis. I found what I was looking for and no longer have the amp.
Enjoy the weekend!

I've just ordered one from here:

The serial number, 8FB2A1B, is a little different, so I hope it works.
