Does anybody knows the origin of the fretboard design of the Franklin Guitars?
Looking at mine a fellow player asked me at the Charlieu Steel Days this week end if I got an answer to this question. I don't...

 maybe during the construction of the first Franklin, Mr Franklin got bit by a spider when trying to think of a name for the steel. just kidding of course
Seriously, I don't know but I think it looks very cool. I have had people ask me about it too and they always say they think the design is awesome. |

| Mr Franklin told me he selected that as it was neutral and wouldn't offend anyone. He is a christian man and didn't want to use anything that would even remotely cause issues. |
