Thanks John, Jimmy and Ray for the kind words regarding my new CD. I have never known an artist that was 100% happy with his or her product but for an old cogger like me I guess it will have to do----

Walter
Have never met you, but looking forward to it and your coming to Saluda in MAY. I will be the Sound Man and your roadie if you need me. You might even see me playing guitar on the Sat night Jam.

I have been helping Buddy and Charles on and off for about 3 years, its gonna be more permanent now that I have retired, 4 times a year I get to hear some great picking and help do some good for the Shriners Hospitals.

I guess we will have to call this show a SMOOTH show, You, Bill Stafford and Bob Strum will be there and thats a lot of SMOOTH playing in my book. It will be a great show.

Walter,
I got a copy at Bristol and I really like it.The song selection is good and the playing is superb! I enjoy music that is easy on the ear and your music meets that standard to a "T". By the way, you're still a youngster compared to me. Keep providing music for us!

Walter,

As you know, I have a copy of your "Back Again" album. If the new one is half as good, I've gotta have one. Bring a stack to St. Louis with you.

You have good taste Walter S. The man proves you don't have to be a young whipper snapper to play great steel and i'm going to see him in person at Saluda,SC in may at the southern steel convention......How lucky can you get?

Walter. I just received my copy of your new CD, and there sure is some mighty fine playing on there. I really think it's great, and it will definately be a "must have" for the steel players for sure.

Best of luck to you on this, Walter, and we are indeed, very proud of you!

Walter
Bring a bunch of those CD's with You to Saluda, I think you will need them. The Saluda audience really appreciates Veteran players, I think you will have an enjoyable weekend.

Walter will be Headlining the 70th Southern Steel Guitar Convention in Saluda S.C. on May 15th and 16th.
