Last Saturday Denise and I became the new owners of SteelSeat.com. As most know by now Thom Beeman passed away a couple of months ago. Luanne (Thom's wife) and I have been discussing the continuing of the business.
I am now in the process of moving the business to AZ from Apple Valley, CA and hope to be making seats soon.
In addition to the SteelSeat.com line of seats I was already in the process of building a new line now called SteelSeat-Lite.
I have been fortunate to already have orders for both the SteelSeat.com seat and the new SteelSeat-Lite seats as well.
I am excited and looking forward to carrying on the business. Changes to the web site will be happening soon. _________________ Joe Naylor, Avondale, AZ (Phoenix) Announcer/Emcee owner www.steelseat.com *** OFFERING SEATS AND Effects cases with or without legs and other stuff ****** -Desert Rose Guitar S-10, Life Member of the Arizona Carport Pickers Assoc., Southwest Steel Guitar Assoc., Texas Steel Guitar Assoc., GA Steel Guitar Assoc., KS Steel Guitar Assoc. Hey Joe (sounds like a song...emmm) congrats on the new venture. I know you will be a success and we're looking forward to seeing you soon down the road and heck, maybe looking at one of those Steel Seat-Lite's measured for the piano height.
Best of luck my friend and for sure to see you in Phoenix.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes.
Dustin - No I am not the Joe Naylor with that other guitar company - I am the good looking one. I have spoke with him on the phone and found that he went to school here in Phoenix but he is in Michigan (I think)
Roy let me know the height of your piano bench and maybe I can let you "Test Drive One"
I have been overwhelmed from all the notes on here plus the personal emails.
The web site has been changed and I have received some orders. Please be patient - I am going to California tomorrow to pick up the materials, equipment, etc. I am working hard to get production back running.
Check out SteelSeat.com

Joe, congrats, glad SteelSeat.com is passed on to good hands...busy hands, but good hands!
I've been dissatisfied for years with pack-a-seats, so down the road let's talk, I'd love to see you put some of my improvement ideas into production. I'm sure a "Mr. Twang" model would be a big seller! The economy seat, for students and beginners, will of course be the "Professor Twang" model.
Here's a photo of the new SteelSeat.com boss (from this year's Phoenix steel show):

Well Mr. Twang - let me know about your ideas - I am collecting ideas from a couple of other guys too.
NOTE - THE WEB SITE IS DOWN - CHANGE OVER PROBLEMS - GO DADDY REQUIRES MONEY AND IT RAN OUT SATURDAY BUT WE DID NOT FIND OUT TILL YESTERDAY. It should be up tonight.
Most all the equipment, tools, fixtures, materials, etc are in AZ not after a 20 hour Saturday.
Hopefully I can start production soon.
Thanks for the orders I have received and I think I have emailed back everyone and the responce has been great ---- thanks for the patients. _________________ Joe Naylor, Avondale, AZ (Phoenix) Announcer/Emcee owner www.steelseat.com *** OFFERING SEATS AND Effects cases with or without legs and other stuff ****** -Desert Rose Guitar S-10, Life Member of the Arizona Carport Pickers Assoc., Southwest Steel Guitar Assoc., Texas Steel Guitar Assoc., GA Steel Guitar Assoc., KS Steel Guitar Assoc. Over 600 people have looked at this WOW
The web site is back up and running - just happened that the date came up and we did not get the message till it went down - just to let you know Go Daddy is great BUT they want the bill paid too. Paid the bill and within minutes it was up and working.
Have started setting up the shop in AZ and hope to get a seat done soon. Will post photos when complete.
Thanks for all the support _________________ Joe Naylor, Avondale, AZ (Phoenix) Announcer/Emcee owner www.steelseat.com *** OFFERING SEATS AND Effects cases with or without legs and other stuff ****** -Desert Rose Guitar S-10, Life Member of the Arizona Carport Pickers Assoc., Southwest Steel Guitar Assoc., Texas Steel Guitar Assoc., GA Steel Guitar Assoc., KS Steel Guitar Assoc.
