To most, this is no big deal to justify an "Announcement", but this is rare in the D/FW area. It's 9:00AM an we have about 5-6 inches. I heard south of here the got a lot too. How 'bout you Austinites?

I'm playing in Seabrook tonight. If it snows down there that would really be something. Send some on down. (but only after I get set up ) Everybody be careful tonight.

We got just enough snow here in San Angelo last night to barely cover the ground. It all melted off by 10:00 this morning.

I live in Gainesville, Texas which is one hour north of Dallas. It is 12:20P.M. and it is still snowing. The roads are clear and I was on I35 this morning going 60 MPH and people were passing me like crazy. I hope this does not happen when the Texas show rolls around. I can hardly wait.

Chris S..... We're almost neighbors. Looks like we got about 4 to 5 inches here in Keller. It looked like a winter wonderland here at about 6 this morning, but it's melting so fast that in a day or so it will all be gone. Snow is kinda rare for this part of the country.

Our little poodle saw snow for the first time, and she was beautiful and precious to watch.

David,

My Daughter and Son-in-law live in Cedar Park. My grandsons took their sleds (from when we lived in Ohio)and had a blast for a few hours at the Jr. High.
Here in San Antonio we only had enough to partially cover the grass.
My 9 year old grandson said if we would come to Cedar Park he would put some snow in a cooler so we could have a snowball fight. To say the least we didn't go. Our freeways in S.A were closed
