I finally have finished a new CD that has been in the works for about 2 years! The Wind Beneath My Strings is the title of my newest project and features many of the songs I have learned and played as a studio musician at Mark V studios, and others, over the last 30 years or so. The songs include: What A Friend We Have in Jesus, In the Garden, I’ll Fly Away, How Great Thou Art, Lighthouse, Softly & Tenderly, Family Bible, Old Rugged Cross, Are You Washed/
When the Roll is Called up Yonder. If you'd like to hear samples of some of these you can go here http://tommydodd.com/pedal_steel_page4.htm
Thanks to all of you that bought my CDs when attending the TSGA show. (What a great time we had!) I hope you are enjoying them. |

Folks, Tommy's new cd is top notch. Don't let this one pass you by. Nobody plays gospel any better than my friend Tommy and the reason is he plays from the heart! I recommend it highly. |

Bob,
Thanks so much for the kind words about my new Gospel CD.
BTW, I will have some of these with me this weekend at the steel show in Kannapolis, N.C. I am really looking forward to getting back to my old stompin' grounds since I graduated from college about 10 miles from where we're gonna be pickin'. (Hmm, those were the good ol' days!)
Hope to see you there....... |
