As some of you may remember, I recently (about 8 months ago) had a nice Stage One Pedal Steel built for me. At the time, I wasn't playing much music, so I thought that I would have time to learn it, and love it.
Well, shortly after receiving the guitar, I joined a band (as a bass player) and started another electronic-music project that is doing pretty well right now.
Needless to say, I have hardly touched the PSG.
And I doubt I will.
The guitar is in like-new condition, with adjustable legs, a nice hard case, PLUS I have some pics, extra strings, a chromatic tuner, a chord chart, and the Jeff Newman beginner's course (the PSG 101 course with the Right Hand Alpha and Techniques courses).
This is a beginner's model, so the copedent is set to a standard E9 tuning.
I'd like to get $1000 for everything - that's basically like getting all the extra stuff for free.
It's a red guitar, and I'll post some pictures later. It's just been sitting, practically untouched, in my home studio (smoke free).
I'd also be up for trading, as all of the $ I ever make on selling gear is ALWAYS invested in other gear.
Right now I am looking for:
1. An electric fretless bass
2. A lap steel guitar
3. analog synths/digital keyboards
Alright - that's all for now. Just post here, PM me, or e-mail me @

Daniel -
Thanks for letting me come check it out.
The tone on this guitar is fantastic. Very rich, with lots of presence.
Also, the build quality looks perfect.
Now that I have seen one of these in person, I can agree that all the good stuff I have heard about these great little guitars is true!

Paul - it was nice to hear my PSG sound like a PSG. That's the only real love she's got in her life!
I was actually surprised at how good it did sound! |

Hey Doug,
I hope you know there is nothing personal with my selling this guitar!
It's me that feels bad...I feel like I let it down.

No Dan, you did well! You got a chance to try pedal steel and saw that for whatever reason it wasn't going to happen. Now someone else gets a chance to try, you get almost all of your money back, everyone has had a good instrument to start on and we all made some new friends. See, that's a good thing! That's why I do this, really, to try to help people . I want folks to have an instrument that is reliable, affordable and encourages them to play music. _________________ Doug Earnest

Now that's the truth.
Just getting into the PSG a little bit has opened up my musical boundaries a ton, and I've met some great people because of it - that is a fact.
Dammit, I started listening to country music last year!
And I actually like some of it!

Under the shrink tubing on the pickup lead you will find two wires (red & green) soldered together. Run a temporary jumper from these two wires to the black lead on the output jack to see if you like it. If you do, a switch can be installed underneath the guitar out of harm's way. The single coil output is a little bit weaker but with most amps today that really isn't a problem. |
