Any thoughts on wood necks on a modern mica all pull guitar? I was wondering why you don't see them anymore. Any pros or cons?

Thanks Bill

I always considered that combination to be sort of a miss-match.
I don't like wood necks on a mica guitar.
Emmons built some of these and I never liked the looks of them. It seemed like the necks were black.
UGLY!!!
I don't know how they sounded, I never could get past the ugly factor!

I always thought Sonny Garrish's guitar looked cool on this album cover:

My wood-neck push-pull is the best sounding guitar I've ever played. Good thing an SM57 can't see ugly Wink.
