Black 8 * 5 This steel has just been gone completely thru by the tri-states best tech.
E-66 on both necks that plays & sounds great.
There is a small notch in the apron piping as you can see in the pic just above the mci decal.
Pics upon request

$1825.00 plus shipping

To answer a couple of questions. This MCI is Not a welded frame. It still sounds great. Also cosmetically you can see a liitle scraping on the piping just above the logo. Mechanically it is excellent. A little wear on the pedals.

Thanks for asking still for sale!

Jim
I don't do a lot of chit chat on the forum but I have to agree they sound great in Black and any other colour, one of the most under rated guitars ever, ask Bobbe Seymore. I have a black apron wth red top D10
All the best with the sale

Once again I would like to say that the welded frame should not be an issue with the MCI guitars. I have owned a couple of both and could see no appreciable difference in them. They are great horns and you will love them. They stay in tune and have a sound very near a p/p with all the advantages of the all pull changers.

Thanks guys. I have a sd10 Zum & thought I wanted to learn C6 Right! If I was 25 maybe (Back when I could retain knowledge) .This is a great sounding MCI
that the best tech in this area went all the way thru and added a vertical to it. (We Bought mci parts from a gentleman on the forum). Gary Trego (The Tech) also added the 1st & 2nd string pull to the right knee left. This Horn is ready to take out & play. What else can I say It WILL make someone a very nice steel. Superior sound from a superior builder.
Once again thanks for the support

Hi Jim, I don't know if you consider a trade for your MCI but I am thinking about putting my rack system up for sale. It is a like new
Revelation pre-amp, similar Stewart world 1.2 power amp, Digitech Quad 4 effects processor, a Furman power conditioner all in a Justice 4-space rack wired to just plug in the brand new 1501-4 Black widow's also in small Justice cabs. I like MCI's and EMCI's but can't part with my Emmons. can send pics if interested.
thanks,
Billy

You guys out there considering a great pre owned D-10 are missing the boat on this guitar. I have owned everything out there and played everything out there on the market and for the money this is a great guitar. I have a student from Wichita I teach about twice a month that pickd up one of the MCI Waco D-10 guitars which is an older model and it has the Lawrence 505's in it but I prefer the E-66's hands down and it really cranks. When put next to my old Pro 2 Sho Bud the MCI sounds "Alive" where my Sho Bud just kind of lays there. Check out the ungodly prices they are asking out there for new & used D-10's and think again on this one. I don't know the guy selling it and I don't play steel anymore but I'd rather play this than any new Carter, Old model MSA or new GFI out there. Have a great day!

Thanks for the plug. I agree! If I played C6 I would never sell this MCI.

This is my last bump. If this doesn't sell I'll unpack it & start trying to learn a little on the C6.

Jim

Thanks for all the views
