I have an Emmons Le Grand 11 that is about 12 years old.
I bought it second hand.
About 6 months ago, I had a problem with a couple of changers sticking.
I dismantled the changers and found quite a bit of wear on the axle.
As a temporary solution, I turned the axle around by 180 degrees to
expose the unworn surfaces.
This has worked OK, but I feel the guitar will benefit from new axles
plus new single string changer units on a few of the strings (the ones
that are activated most with pedals and knee levers).

The problem is that I can't locate Emmons on the phone. ( have tried
336 227 2782 and 910 227 2782). Either their number has changed, or
they have moved (or are they still in business?).
Maybe there is another source for parts.
I have bought parts from Bobbe Seymour before, but recently there is a
compatibility problem with his credit card machine and my credit card.
I do not have this problem with other suppliers and have been accepted
by PayPal without a problem.

Do you know of any other Emmons parts stockists.
His name is Sez Anderson and lives in South Africa ,if you can help him here is his e-mail. sez.adamson@gmail.com Thanks Rudy

Sometimes Emmons can be hard to get on the phone, especially on Monday after the weekend.

I usually fax my parts order and then they call back for a credit card number if you did not include it in the Fax. Ron will call if there are questions.

There is a parts list with pictures for the Legrande II/III on the WEB site, with parts numbers and prices. If you find all the parts you need on the Web site, include the credit card info in the fax and they will add postage and ship.

The Fax works everytime for me.
