Just trying to help promote the show. There are 4 or 5 bands on the bill. I'll be playing steel at midnight with the Mother Truckers. Sometimes Joe Goldmark plays with Dave Gleason but I don't know if he's making it Saturday. I hope so!
This should be a pretty fun show. I've seen all the bands and they're all great.

Hope to see some music fans there.

Dave, is that a new venue in San Rafael? I haven't heard of it. I wish I could be there and check out you and Joe. I heard Joe recently with Dave Gonzales and Chris Gafney doing a counry gig and they really featured Joe heavily wich was an education for me.

Hi Bill.
The club has been there for many years I believe, but moved to a new location a few years back. I don't think it was always a music venue. It was more like a sports bar and a place to play cards back in the day. It's a big room with a big stage and a PA. It's off the main drag a bit path so it probably gets a little over looked.

I can attest to the mike Stinson band being real darn good, Mike wrote Late Great Golden State off Dwight's new album, and he has Tony Gilkyson playing guitar who is my favorite geetar player in LA. |

I agree Jesse. We've done some shows with Mike Stinson before and Tony instantly became one of my favorite guitar pickers! I think we'll be playing with them again at the Silverlake Lounge towards the end of February. I'm looking forward to it.
