The Texas Playboys and Commander Cody featuring yours truly will be performing at the Madison Civic Center in Wisconsin on Saturday, January 31st...it will be big!
Check it out at:

Plus we'll be at Generations again here in St. Louis on Tuesday, February 3rd. It is always a great high energy show and worth the effort to attend as everyone in the band is fabulous. Steve Barbuto on Drums, Rick Mullen on Bass, he's worth the price of the ticket, me on Steel, and Mark Emerick on Guitar. Plus the Commander, George Frayne on Piano. George, Mark and Steve all sing and they do all the tunes you've come to know and love. Just call me "Buddy Black", ha, ha!
See you there!

I have a gig of my own on 1/31; otherwise, I would gladly make the trip to Mad Town to see this act. The Commander is one of my favorites and I'm sure this band will play all the tunes I want to hear. I don't suppose you guys are coming anywhere near Chicago?

Texas Playboys are coming to Woodstock on Jan 30, 2004 as well. I don't know if the Commander will be there though. |

Getting excited!

Hey, Mark Emerick called this morning and said that Curtis Potter will be the vocalist with the Texas Playboys tommorow night along with incomprable Steel Guitarist, Tommy Morrell, so it will be the place to be for steel!
