I will be in Nashville Thursday and Friday nights. What recommendations can you give me?
We could not get in the Bluebird Friday night.
Would like to hear good country or bluegrass.
Thanks.

Head down to lower Broadway (near 4th St)....there's about five clubs that will have no cover and excellent country music being played by some of the best pickers in the country...although not all of them have steel, unfortunately. |

I'm at the Long Hollow Jamboree tonight in Goodlettsville. We do Price, Haggard, Jones, etc.
Hey Randy, I might stop by on my way home if I have time. _________________ C#

Try to make it Wed. night and hear Caroline Martin (who plays w/ The Time Jumpers) with her own western swing band out near Opryland, with Chris Scruggs WAILIN' on no-pedal steel. It's one of the only places you can actually dance in Nashville. (Imagine that - actually dancing to great swingin' music, instead of sitting in your chair and analyzing it) |

Friends,
Thanks so much for your help.
Randy, sorry I missed you last night. We lingered a little too long at a friend's house. I'll try you next time.
Thanks again to everyone.
