There were a bunch of Forum members a while back asking about Bobby.I have been talking with Bobby about working two Florida Venues in may. My plans are to bring Smiley Roberts in with him.I have told Bobby about the Forum and he is checking it out and seeing that he is a Pedal steel player in his own right he may just decide to join in.Bobby would be a natural guest for Steel shows.
Check out bobbygrice.com and his full itinerary will show up.

Joe,
I once interviewed Bobby G on my radio show many years ago. I live in Springfield (about 19 miles north of Nashville) and I think he lives near me.

you can find bobby g at rudy's country music cafe, next door to earnest tubb record shop, in music valley, quite a bit. he likes the music they play.
he hangs there a lot, 'cause those folks play real country music.
if he's not there, leave him a message there and he will get back to you soon.
here's another example of, when he sang the song, you didn't have to ask, who's that singing?
a song stylist for sure.
country jack...

My friend Bobby Preston and I worked several shows with Bobby G back in the 70s when he was still struggling and before You Lay So Easy made it easier on him. He was/is one of the nicest folks I've ever met and it's good to hear he's still around. Ask him to email me sometime. I'd love to hear from him again. He knows me by Ray Carson, a DJ and bass player back in those days.
