Nice piece, Cliff - that's the way I like to see 'em, clean and original. I see a lot of these refinished or otherwise boogered up. If I didn't have a '56 or so Stringmaster D8 already and a tripleneck Rickenbacker on the way, I'd be all over that one. |

Yup, I did, and I'm psyched since I'm a big Ricky steel fan. But it also means that I need to pull in my horns on new stuff for a while.
On this steel - I see refin'd and otherwise boogered up examples pushing a grand these days. This looks to be a real nice clean piece, and that's what vintage guitar collectors want, IMO. |
