I just want to acknowledge how very nice and spiffy my new, Oklahoma friend Mr. Boards looked throughout the TSGA shindig.
Every time I saw him he was attired in an eye-catching, sporty outfit which on occasion made it difficult to be sure if it was the same Mr. Boards you'd seen just moments before.
If my fading memory serves me correctly, I believe his lovely wife should get credit for the design and
making of these great looking shirts.
My vote for "best dressed" is MR. BOARDS. |

Well, the intent should be evident........
But I seem to have failed in delivering the product.
Anyone choose to help this olde man thro' this dilema? |

Here you go. George posted it himself in another thread.
I didn't realize how young and good looking he was... ![Wink](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

Is he planning on running for office ?
Hey, Ray, I just looked at that group photo. You and George look a lot alike. Are you sure you're not related ? ![Wink](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

I've always looked up to Rick Alexander as a FATHER image for me......(He looks so much older and wiser)
but to be truthful, George IS actually my real father. |

The evidence is now becoming more clear. George is certainly the best dressed one that I have seen so far from the picture presentations of the Dallas Texas Steel Guitar Jamboree, so I cast my vote, George is #1. Now that we have this settled. When are the rest of you guys going to do something about elevating the dress code and dress standards and coming up to the standards that Mr. Boards has set?
Aloha,
Don |

Here's some music for the "Best Dresser"
The "Red Vinyl" Album :-
Well, an album of mine on world release by EMI was released by Toshiba records in Japan as a Red vinyl sampler on the Odeon label OP-8327 (yax-3414) and called :- Mood Deluxe Melodies for Best Dresser
I'm still looking for a copy of ANY of my EMI Albums that were released in Japan by the Nipon Record Company. I'll pay enough to make the finder a "Best Dresser" . _________________

Well son, that explains why you're so conflicted.
Remember, it was I who raised you and taught you the ways of the world and gave you your weekly allowance.
George may have planted the seed, but he was never really there for you.
He squandered all his money on fancy shirts, leaving nothing for you.
And now that you've hit the big time, suddenly there he is - all helpful and supportive!
What does that tell you? |

George, I see you're a man of exquisite taste. It shows in your lap steel designs too. |

Now that we have concluded that George is the best dresser at the convention, can we now pay some attention to upgrading the standards of dress by all the other participants. Why should George have to feel out of place based on his dress? Let's have some compassion, guys!
