I would like to thank the Texas Steel Guitar Jamboree for the nice Celebration of Life they had for Tom. It meant a lot to myself and our children, Tracie Brumley of Nixa, Mo., Tommy Brumley of Ozark, Mo. and Todd Brumley, of the San Antonio Rose Live Band (bass player). They failed to introduce him for those of you who didn't know him.
I am back in Branson, Mo. so hope to hear from you all from time to time.
Email add is brumshow@msn.com
Thanks again to all our friends. Love, Rolene and family |

Rolene, I am so proud that the Texas Jamboree group put on the celebration of Tom's great life for you and all your children. Glad that they were all there.
I am just sorry that I couldn't be there to visit with you. All our best... Larry and Betty |

Ms. Rolene, I cannot understate the influence of Tom on the steel guitar community. In a way Tom is immortal. There are many of us who study his style and carry on his playing. His playing style will be carried down from generation to generation of steel guitar players. A blessed man, and a friend to anyone who met him. |

I wish I had been there to hear the tribute to Tom. He was a wonderful and very kind human being, as well as a remarkable musician. The generations of the Brumley family are all very talented.
Rolene - Tom touched the hearts of so many of us on this Forum, both directly and indirectly.
Last year's tribute at the TSGA was for John Hughey, and that was a very emotional experience. This year's must have been the same. _________________ Show Pro D10 - amber (8+6), MSA D10 Legend XL Signature - redburst (9+6), Sho-Bud Pro 111 Custom (8+6), Emmons black Push-Pull D10 (8+5), Zum D10 (8x8), Hudson pedal resonator. Tom was and will remain an inspiration to all of us who try to wring music out of this most contrary of instruments. His legacy will live on through all who have been influenced by him. |

Rolene was at the Branson Steel Extravaganza this July held at Wranglers Honky Tonk and was recognized and announced. Dean Holeman spoke about Tom Brumley on his set at the show. He got pretty emotional giving thanks to Tom for kick starting his career. |

Tom was much more than a premier musician. By all accounts, he was a class act and stayed true to himself no doubt because of his upbringing. There will never be another era in country music as enjoyable as the early to late 1960's, in my opinion. Tom was such a huge part of that. |
